Well, it only took me a couple of weeks, but here are some pics from the Wheeler Family trip to Florida. It started out a little rough, but we had a great time. Brady and I were supposed to fly out a couple days before everyone else so that we could visit the grad school at the University of Florida and run a 5K race at Epcot. Yet, when we checked in with Delta we had apperently booked out flight wrong (although we swear we did right). Instead of getting into Orlando Friday morning, our flight would not get us there until Saturday morning. Arrg. Delta was good enough to work with us, and helped us get a flight that would at least get us there Friday night. So, we didn't make it to the University of Florida, but I did run my race with Brady cheering from the sidelines since he had strained the ligaments in his right foot and couldn't run. After that bump in the road we had a great time. We spent four days at Disney World, and hit the four main parks: Hollywood Studios, Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, and Epcot. We also saw two baseball games: Dodgers vs. Red Sox (Dodgers won at Dodgertown) and Astros vs. Braves (Braves lost)! We also spent a day at Cape Canaveral and visited the Kennedy Space Station and Cocoa Beach. Some of my favorites include: any treat I ate at Disney World, Fantasmic (the coolest water and light show by far - saw it twice), Rockin Roller Coaster, Expedition Everest (anothe roller coaster), Finding Nemo the musical, and hangin out at the beach. If I had to guess Brady's favorites, they would be: baseball, Mickey's Philharmagic (3D show starring Donald Duck), getting his picture taken with Donald Duck, Rockin Roller Coaster, playing catch on the beach, and more baseball. The funniest part was probably pushing Brady around in a wheelchair all over Disney World. His doctor wanted him to stay off of his foot as much as possible, so the poor kid was confined to the chair while I tried to navigate through crowds. It was worth it, because his foot is better and ready for softball season!
A big thanks goes out to the Wheeler Family (and Emo) for making the trip so much fun. We hope to get to do it agian soon!!

Holy cow! That looks like so much fun! I'm glad you were able to run your race and that Brady's foot is getting better. I would love to go there someday!
Florida is lots of fun, I'm glad you enjoyed it. Are you looking at lots of grad schools? Glad you didn't miss your race.
