Since it has been two months since we blogged about our lives, I decided it was time to provide a little info about us.

We have been busy these last two months with work. Alta has seen its ups and downs with the weather. We had a warming period a couple of weeks ago that made me dread going to work everyday due to the disappearing snow. However, the jet stream shifted and Utah has been getting hit with a snow storm every other day (much to the angst of the newscasters that seem to complain about the snow every day on the news). It has been an amazing experience to work at Alta...only two weeks left. Even though I love skiing, I have officially caught spring fever and look forward to baseball games, barbecues, and short sleeves again.

Stasha has been extremely busy with her job teaching junior high. She has settled into the routine and enjoys educating the students. She is usually at school until about 5:30 p.m. every night doing her lesson preparation so we only see each other for a couple of hours each night by the time I get home from Alta. I look forward to when my wife is not in her first year teaching school.

Last weekend we ran a 5k together at East High school with Stasha's brother Teren and his wife Emily. It was my first organized race since high school. I had fun and finished in 24:00 minutes. The majority of the race was downhill so I was hurting for a couple of days afterward, but a positive experience overall.

Baseball season is starting this weekend which has me....GIDDY!!! The Red Sox play the Rays on opening day. One of my co-workers is taking the day off just to watch the game...it is the type of loyalty that I hope to possess someday.

Anyway, all is well and I hope to update this blog more frequently in the next couple of weeks.
