Hi Stasha! Have you heard good things about the Kite Runner? I read it, and it really was awful in my opinion. Really, it was so disturbing, I didn't feel bad for the people in Afghanistan--it seemed like they deserved what they got. I would suggest reading Jane Eyre or Uncle Tom's Cabin. Those are much better! But, if you really want to read it, you might as well. This summer, I'm going to read a lot, work, go on a cruise, and go to Tuacahn. It's going to be great!

Looks like a fun list! This summer I plan to do nothing! Not really...but I always want that for at least a week once the teaching year is over. My summer doesn't start until July 2nd...darn year round school! But I plan to wakeboard, stay in the folks house in St. George and catch Tuachan, sleep lots, and move into the folks home. Nothing too grand.

I also have a comment about Kite Runner. Julia also told me not to read it when I was half-way through it...and I could go either way on it. I learned a lot from it, but it was VERY disturbing. After the major "scene" I had to stop reading it for a few weeks because it literally made me sick. But once I got more into it I thought it was interesting. I want to read his next book...heard it was good too. Let me know what you think of Kite Runner!

tHANKS FOR THE LIST OF IDEAS...NOW THAT I HAVE A BABY...MINE WILL PROBABLY CONSIST OF PLAYING OUTSIDE IN A LITTLE POOL WITH A COUPLE INCHES OF WATER, GOING TO THE ZOO, WHEELER'S FARM, THANKSGIVING POINT...AND HOPEFULLY SO GOOD NAPS!

Stasha, first of all I can't believe working in the labs didn't make it to your list of things you really wanted to do this summer. Secondly I know of some pretty good cinnamon roll recipes if you need one. Also I know someone who really likes to eat cinnamon rolls so if you and Brady can't handle them you just let me know. :)
