Thursday afternoon, Brady and I, and our friends, Ryan and Carly, headed to St. George to enjoy some fun in the sun. We began our adventures at Zions National Park early Friday morning. The weather was perfect, and we had a blast hiking Angel's Landing, Weeping Rock, and Emerald Pools. Angel's Landing was our big hike for the day, it is 5 miles round trip, involves a lot of switch backs (best quad, ham string, and glutes workout period), and the last half mile to the peak requires hikers to hold onto a chain so they do not go tumbling to their death. The view is incredible, so it is worth the risky hike to the top. Once we completed Angel's Landing, we head back to our car for a picnic lunch where we watched some hilarious squirrels. To cool themselves off they dig a little hole in the ground and then lay completely flat, it looks really funny because their bodies get all stretched out. After lunch, we took it easy and hiked the Weeping Rock and the Emerald Pools. We finished out the day by going to a local Italian restaurant and then caught the late show for Prince Caspian. It was an adventure filled day, and we were all happy to sleep in the next morning!!

Shell and I love Zion, that is where we went on our honeymoon. It is an awesome place and congrats on the hikes.
That looks like so much fun! We did Angel's Landing last year, and, at the end, my heart was beating rapidly because of the hard work and the steep drop off on both sides! So fun. You totally deserved to sleep in the next morning!!
Looks like you had a fun weekend in sunny St. George! I miss it down there!
