Purchased
So last weekend Brady experienced a monumental moment in his life . . . he bought his first Red Sox tickets. He spent his entire Saturday on a computer trying to buy them through mlb.com to only "sit" in the "virtual waiting room" and end up with nothing. We tried to get tickets again Sunday evening, but by then all that was left was obstructed view and standing room only seats. So we had to buy them through an alternative ticketing agency, a little more pricy, but it was worth it. Brady is so giddy with excitement to be able to see the Red Sox play in Fenway. And I have to admitt, his enthusiasim is quite contangious! I can't wait to sit in a historic landmark watching America's favorite pastime (yup that's the nerdy historian in me)! Oh, and I really hope Papelbon closes one of the games, he's my favorite! GO RED SOX!!

That sounds fun, although I despise the Redsox. My dad took all the guys in my family last year there but it was to see the Yankees play the Redsox. When do you guys go?
First week of June, call it a graduation/anniversary trip. We are also going to New York to see the Yankees before the stadium comes down and see Wicked!
Wow! I am very impressed. Not only with getting tickets to the Redsox, but with your blogging skills! I was telling Brady that for people who said they would never get a blog, you are making more progress on yours than I am on mine! Looks great though. Have fun at the game!!
oh..and I'm a little jealous that you get to see Wicked!! I have been wanting to see that for so long and I heard it was great!
Fun trip! We went last Decemeber to NY and saw wicked, and it was fabulous! In fact it was so great that last May for our anniversary we went to Denver to see it again. I love NY, that will be so fun.
Stash, it's Megann. How are you? Be careful, those Bo Sox fans are crazy! I went to a game on student night one time and everyone was drunk! So funny!
