Latest Information

I can't believe I am doing this, but I decided that I needed to contribute to the "blogosphere" and add information instead of expecting Sause to do it all. So here it goes.

First, I feel it is important that I preface my post with a little bit of background information. I think this will help the people that Stasha grew up with and don't know very much about me. I am interested in the following: sports, traveling, international affairs, comparitive politics (the politics of other countries), american politics, economics, and some history. If anybody wants to discuss any of these things, I will do my best to respond to your comments.

Our Spring Training baseball tickets have all finally arrived. We will be going to see the Dodgers vs. the Red Sox and the Astros vs. the Braves. I am torn on who I will cheer for at the Dodgers/Red Sox game, since they are my two favorite teams. I hyperventilate everytime i think about how soon the baseball season is going to start.

I had my 1st of 3 fantasy baseball drafts tonight. It went well, I think I have some players that will help me finish in the top 3 of my league. The one league I care about winning is the league that I organized. Actually, I don't really care about winning...just beating my wife so that I don't get heckled all winter like last year, when, thats right, my wife placed 3rd and I finished 4th. Bill Simmons can relate.

During President's day weekend we had the opportunity to go to the University of Utah basketball game. It was a good experience. They unveiled the all-century team and honored the players from previous decades as well. I took my nieces and nephew down to find their dad and had a chance to stand by Andrew Bogut. He's tall. I felt like a shrimp when I was sandwiched between him and Alex Jensen.

Overall, a good weekend. I got to play video games with my brother-in-law. Our wives won't play with us, so it is a big deal when we visit down in Salt Lake. Stasha is dealing with a pretty stubborn cold bug, which is why we didn't call some of you to go out to dinner. We didn't want to get you sick.

Hope everybody had a good weekend.
