A Word of Welcome

Well, we have officially started the world of blogging. We figured it would be a fun and easy way to stay in contact with friends and family as we move about life. Speaking of life, we had a fun holiday with family and also taking a trip to Mexico! We stayed in Playa del Carmen, about an hour south of Cancun. We checked out Xcaret, Tulum, Chichen Itza, Cozumel, and Cancun while we are there. The Mayan ruins were way cool, but I was probably most fascinated with the turtle reserve at Xcaret. It is the second largest in the world, and I thought it was hillarious to watch them eat. Brady was a great tour guide as it was his former mission stomping grounds. And we both agree that we would love to go back to eighty degrees, sunny, on the beach instead of below freezing and nonstop snow. But I guess the pictures will have to do for now!
