Time for an update on our lives.
We had a good holiday season. Here is a short summary of what we did over the holidays. Not a whole lot of excitement this year i.e. no trips to Mexico like last year (even though we did think about it...a lot)
Christmas Eve: We went to the Wheeler Homestead for Christmas Eve. It was good to see everybody and visit with my brothers. The highlight of the trip was pulling Stasha on her skis with our 4 wheeler behind the fields of my parents house. She kept yelling at me to go faster. Needless to say, I think I am rubbing off on her.
Christmas: We drove back to SLC since I had to work at Alta on Christmas day so we woke up early, opened presents, and then went skiing. It was windy that day so I only worked until 2 and then my boss sent all the valley residents home before they closed the canyon for avalanche control work. So we got home early and visited with Stasha's family.
For a New Year's celebration, we went to the torchlight parade and fireworks at Alta. It was my first torchlight parade and a good experience. My parents drove south from Logan and watched the parade from the car. Maybe I can get them to participate and ski in the parade next year. We are happy and healthy and looking forward to the new year. God bless y'all.
